Ainekea and Lahaina

We were up all night and flew for 10 hours. Adams back was hurting pretty bad. He found a spot on the plane where he could stretch out. We made it to Maui about 1:30 in the afternoon.

Breyden and Jennie did all the shopping before we landed, so we hopped in and headed to the harbor.

Once we got settled on the boat, we took off for a sunset sail and whale watching. The whales were in rare form and we were just surrounded by them. We followed a Mom and baby and escort for a half hour or so. At one point, they came up so close to the boat that Adam could have stepped from the boat onto momma's tail!

We headed back to the mooring and ate dinner. Then we crashed for the night and slept so good with the boat swaying and out sound machine on! It was a great first day.
