Day 1 of 2025 trip - NOLA

Because Adam is the Bishop and I am the RS Pres, we had to cut out 2 month trip to 2 weeks. This year the girls all voted on another cruise and we are trying the Norwegian cruise lines this time. 

We left yesterday, Nov 13 at 6:30 pm and drove to NOLA. We arrived at the Best Western at 6:30 am and they let us check in early! We slept till noon, hot tubbed till 2 then ate some gumbo and jambalaya with non alcoholic daiquiris. We finally got out to the French quarter where we walked around, ate beignets from Cafe Dumonde and acted out the end scene of The Originals in front of the cathedral. It's tradition now.
