Day 2 Elegant Night

Day 2 at sea was considered elegant night.We told the girls they needed to bring a couple of formal dresses for the KOA convention. They were really confused when we didn't actually dress up.. well tonight we really worked it and we looked amazing! It was fun for the girls to get dressed up and go to a comedy show before dinner in the dining room.

In the dining room we had the same waiters every night so we got to know them. All 3 were from Indonesia Ni Made was over the others. She was a single mother of 2 boys. She has been working for Carnival for 17 years. She left when her youngest was 1. She goes home every 6 months to see them, then leaves again. The second one was Arjana. He spoke broken English but we learned that he was married and had 3 little children under 7. He wants us to go to Bali when he goes home next November so he can be our tour guide. He has been working for Carnival for 9 years. The 3rd guy we did not know because he's still learning English.

Each night the dining staff danced to a song. The host would call them together over the microphone by saying, " It's Shhhhowtime." With a click of his tongue and ahhh. It's funny.
