Aloha Maui - Mahalo

Our flight was at 11am and we got to the airport an hour earlier than necessary. Brin had bought some Hawaiian lotion as gifts for Hydee's family and as we were packing I noticed they were 8 oz bottles! So we filled as many travel size tube as we could and have Jennie the other one to give a friend. 

I bought this statue for Herman and then we saw a life size one at the airport.

As soon as we landed we got a funny uber driver in a suit driving a family minivan with a car seat and open wine bottles. We got the car and packed it all up with the tow trailer and stopped at Wendy's  for food before we hit the road.  Adam made Raju good time and made an 11 hour drive in 9 and a half. We drove through Vegas and saw the new sphere arena from the highway. We had to stop for gas and Adam had been talking about how he could kill for a custard filled donut and the gas station had just got a new delivery so they were fresh.  He was so happy,  Denali said she will always remember the look on his face as he walked out of the gas station with his donuts. Lol!

We arrived at the Hammatt's at 7 am and Melissa, Harper and Heidi and grandma met us at the door.  They were wrapping carmels they made for gifts.  We all hit the pillows and slept till 1 pm or so.
