Packing up, Laundry and Teslas

 We had to leave the Johnson condo first thing.  We packed up,  but had 5 hours to kill before we could check into our Airbnb. So we thought we could just spend the day at Mission Bay Park, but we no longer had the towels and chairs and no one wanted to sit in the sand without them,  so we lasted about 15 minutes. 

Adam has been looking at Teslas a lot lately because our van that we bought last year now has too many miles and the warranty is up. We decided to go to a dealer in La Jolla which turned out to be in a mall. We got to ask a lot of questions and test drive a brand new Model X with a third row seats. The girls really liked that! So did Adam!

The mall was all decorated for Christmas. The food court was decorated kike candy canes. It was so cute! 

We've been trying to use up all the food we brought with us from home.  We've done a good job of it,  but it's just been a lot of snacking and not much good food.  We had been planning to go to Filippi's Pizza for dinner,  but decided to do lunch instead.  Denali asked to go as soon as we got to San Diego. She renembered playing with a ball of dough when we went 5 years ago over mother's day.  All 3 teenagers wanted to do it.

We bought way too much food and it had way too much cheese to continue eating it, but we took it and finally checked into our Airbnb.  After doing 5 loads of laundry so we could pack for our flight,  we decided to go to the Goodwill we passed on the way from Filippi's. 

We are 1 day closer to Hawaii!!
