Another Travel Day

We woke up a little early so we could pack up and check out of our airbnb condo. We are really going to miss it! When Adam checked us in for our flights to the Big Island Hawaii, it said we needed to get there 3 hours early, but Breydrn said it had said that for the last year so we went to the beach once more for an hour before we had to leave. Them we loaded up and headed to the airport.  

Security was easy,  but Brin got tagged again for having liquids bigger than 4 oz. This time it was her micellar water.

She wasn't happy about throwing it away, but didn't have much choice. After security we found our gate and then the girls all had to go to Starbucks! There was an older couple sitting across from me and after they all left,  I sighed and told them, "I hate Starbucks!" They agreed with me and chuckled.

The flight was barely 30 minutes long. All they had time to pass out was juice or water. Just when Denali got up to go to the bathroom we started our desent. Since she couldn't figure out how to open the door, she decided to wait. After we got off and went to the bathroom,  we went to get our rental car from Alamo. We rented a Jeep Rubicon even though it only seats 5 and we have 6 people.

After stuffing our luggage and people in, Adam looked up where we were going and found out that we had 3 hours still before check in so we headed to Walmart to do our usual shopping.  That has been one of the hardest parts of traveling. Trying to plan menus and snacks and not overspend because we will have to throw it all out when we leave! But we are here for a week so there was quite a bit of stuff and we had to stuff it all in to the jeep too! 

Finally we went to check in. Man, I love Club Wyndham! I am happy to be here and I don't care if we leave for a week!

Once we got settled we made Mongolian for dinner then Kinley and Adam had to plan the next few days depending on weather. That took most of the evening and then we went to bed so we can get up at 6:30am.
